Wuling will begin local production of electric car batteries at the end of 2024, featuring Magic Battery technology, which offers superior performance and intelligent management. According to Liu Yan, Marketing Operation Director of Wuling Motors Indonesia, this production reflects Wuling's commitment to strengthening the electric vehicle industry in Indonesia. The battery is designed with a modular structure, making it easy to repair and enhancing consumer convenience.

This locally produced battery utilizes more advanced cells, with an improved internal structure and ceramic coating to reduce heat. Magic Battery technology includes Multifunction Utilized Structure, Advanced Cell Battery, high performance, intelligent management, and fire resistance.

Wuling has conducted various tests to ensure battery quality, proving it to be safe from risks of short circuits and leaks, even after a collision. To date, there have been no reports of fires or explosions, with guarantees of efficiency, durability, and good performance.

Additionally, the battery is equipped with a cloud-based High Precision Battery Management System (BMS), allowing real-time condition monitoring. Magic Battery technology will be applied to three Wuling electric vehicles: Air EV, Binguo EV, and Cloud EV.
